No official Backseat Rally tier list exists. We rank all ten cars by unlock level, spec sheet and real cost, from the starter Orso 4 to the 695 R$ Orkan 9S.
Backseat Rally Tier List: Best Cars by Unlock Value
There is no official Backseat Rally tier list. The developers have not published one, and with ten cars in the garage directory against seven named in the launch description, any ranking is a snapshot. This one ranks cars by what they cost you to get — account level or Robux — against the spec sheet the garage shows, and it says plainly where a number is missing.
The short version: the Orkan 9S is the fastest car and the only S-tier, the Kaze RS is the strongest free car, and the Orso 4 is a starter you should leave behind as soon as level 3 arrives. Everything between those three is a question of how much you value all-wheel drive and how long you plan to play.

How This Tier List Is Built
Three inputs, no invented lap times:
- Unlock cost. Account level for free cars, Robux for the pass and early unlocks. A car you can have at level 3 is worth more than an identical car at level 20.
- Listed spec sheet. Top speed, power and drivetrain as shown on the car card. These are manufacturer-style numbers, not measured stage times.
- Class. Class letters are what race limits use, so a Class B car can be locked out of a Class D event regardless of speed.
What is deliberately absent: handling ratings, braking distances and tier lists copied from other rally games. The game does not publish them, and a “best handling” claim without a test is a guess.
The Roblox description says seven cars. The garage directory names ten, and the community wiki that transcribed it lists all ten with levels and specs. Treat the card in Change Car as the current truth; this page follows the ten-car directory as of October 21, 2026.
The Tier List
| Tier | Car | How to get it | Class / drive | Top speed | Power | Why it sits here |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | Orkan 9S | 695 R$ gamepass | S / 4WD | “Fastest” (no number) | Not listed | The only Class S car and the only 4WD flagship. Paid, so it is a shortcut, not a free-route goal |
| A | Kaze RS | Level 10 | B / AWD 38/62 | 191 km/h | 300 hp | Strongest complete free spec sheet; the best free car in the game |
| A | Ocelot R1 | Level 24 | A / not listed | Not listed | Not listed | Highest free class and latest unlock. Specs unpublished, so rank is by class and level, not by a number |
| A | Kumo R1 | Level 20 | A / not listed | Not listed | Not listed | Second Class A unlock; same caveat as the Ocelot |
| B | Raijin G6 | Level 16 | A / not listed | Not listed | Not listed | First Class A car, but no published specs. A class jump with unknown pace |
| B | Falke E3 | Level 8 | B / RWD | 178 km/h | 230 hp | 230 hp in a rear-drive package before the Kaze arrives. A strong bridge car |
| B | Saetta HF | Level 6 | C / AWD 45/55 | 175 km/h | 215 hp | First AWD car. Less power than the Falke, more traction out of slow corners |
| C | Freccia HF | Level 3 | D / FWD | 177 km/h | 130 hp | The first real upgrade: +28 km/h and +55 hp over the starter for free |
| C | Rascal S | Level 5 | C / FWD | 157 km/h | 110 hp | A class up but slower and less powerful than the Freccia. Buy only if a Class C event demands it |
| D | Orso 4 | Starter | D / RWD | 149 km/h | 75 hp | Fine for the tutorial, outclassed by level 3 |
| — | Brenner S1 | Car crate jackpot | Not listed | Not listed | Not listed | Crate-only, no public specs. Unranked rather than guessed |
The odd one out is the Rascal S: it unlocks after the Freccia and is worse on every published number except class. Skip it unless a Class C event blocks your Class D car.
What Each Tier Means in Practice
S — the paid ceiling. The Orkan 9S is the car the game markets as fastest. At 695 R$ it costs more than any other single purchase, and it will not make you faster than a player who knows the stage. Buy it for the Class S ceiling, not to fix a skill problem.
A — the free endgame. Kaze RS, Kumo R1 and Ocelot R1 are the level 10+ goals. The Kaze is the known quantity: 191 km/h, 300 hp, AWD with a 38/62 split.
B — the useful middle. The Saetta at level 6 is your first AWD car, which matters in hairpins and on loose surfaces. The Falke at level 8 gives you 230 hp and rear drive: faster in a straight line, less forgiving on exit.
C — the transition. Freccia HF is the only car here worth owning: the first real upgrade, for three account levels. Rascal S is a class ticket, not a performance upgrade.
D — the starter. The Orso 4 is light, short-geared and rear-drive. It teaches momentum because it has so little power. Do not spend parts on it once level 3 is close.
The Paid Shortcuts, Priced Honestly
| Purchase | Price | What it actually gives you | Worth it? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Orkan 9S | 695 R$ | Class S, 4WD, fastest car | Only if you are staying for months |
| VIP | Not listed in the pass API | Double Credits per stage, permanently | If you farm CR regularly; it does not add cars |
| Starter Pack | 2,500 Credits + Works crate + rims | A cosmetic and currency bundle, not a car | Only if you wanted the Works crate anyway |
| Freccia HF early | 49 R$ | Skips the level 3 wait | No; level 3 arrives quickly |
| Saetta HF early | 99 R$ | Skips level 6, first AWD | Maybe, if you want AWD immediately |
| Kaze RS early | 149 R$ | Skips level 10, best free car | The only early unlock with a real argument |
Prices change; the level gate does not.
CR buys crates and cosmetics. It does not buy the Freccia, the Kaze or anything else on this list. If you are short on cars, you are short on account level, not Credits. The Credits guide explains what CR is actually for.
Which Car Should You Unlock Next?
- Level 3: take the Freccia HF. It is free and it is better than the Orso in every published number.
- Level 5: skip the Rascal S unless a Class C event blocks you.
- Level 6: take the Saetta HF if you want to learn all-wheel drive. It is the handling school the starter never gives you.
- Level 8: the Falke E3 is the power jump. If you like rear drive, this is your car until level 10.
- Level 10: take the Kaze RS. It is the best free car and the one to build around.
- Level 16 and beyond: the Class A cars are long-term goals. Do not buy their early unlocks; the price is high and the specs are unpublished.

FAQ
Does Backseat Rally have an official tier list? No. The developers have not published one. This ranking is built from unlock levels, class, drivetrain and the listed top speed and power on each car card.
What is the best car in Backseat Rally? The Orkan 9S is the fastest and the only Class S car, but it costs 695 R$. The best free car is the Kaze RS at level 10: 191 km/h, 300 hp and all-wheel drive.
Is the Rascal S better than the Freccia HF? No. The Rascal S is a Class C car with 157 km/h and 110 hp; the Freccia is Class D with 177 km/h and 130 hp. The Rascal's only advantage is its class, which matters only in class-limited events.
Can I buy cars with Credits? No. Credits buy crates and cosmetics. Cars are unlocked by account level, the Orkan 9S gamepass, or Robux early-unlock products.
How many cars are in Backseat Rally? Seven in the launch description, ten in the garage directory, from the Orso 4 to the Orkan 9S. Trust the Change Car screen if it disagrees.
Official source: Backseat Rally on Roblox, read on October 24, 2026. The creator is the No crash plez group; the canonical game page is the other official listing. Level gates and spec sheets are transcribed from the in-game garage directory; the ten-car list is cross-checked against a community car progression page dated October 21, 2026, and is not an official publish.
