Privacy Policy — Roblox Guide

This policy explains what happens to your data when you use Roblox Guide. The short version: the site itself has no accounts and collects nothing about you, and the only data collection that happens is done by the advertising and analytics partners described below, under their own terms.

What this site collects

Roblox Guide is a static site with no login, no accounts, no comments, no forums, no newsletter sign-up and no user profiles. Reading a guide requires nothing from you. We do not ask for and do not store names, email addresses, Roblox usernames, or any other personal data submitted through the site. The only way to reach us is for you to send an email yourself, and that email is used to answer you and nothing else.

Like nearly every website, our host and network infrastructure keep ordinary server logs — the requested URL, the time, the browser and the IP address the request came from — for security and reliability. These logs are not combined with any profile, are not used to identify you, and are rotated out on a short retention cycle.

Advertising cookies

The site is supported by advertising. Ad placements are served by third-party ad networks, currently Adsterra and Google AdSense, depending on the slot. The site itself sets no advertising or tracking cookies and holds no data about you.

When an ad is served or an ad slot loads, the network involved may set cookies or use similar technologies such as local storage, device identifiers or fingerprinting, and may collect data including your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view on this site, and how you interact with the ad — including whether you click it. That data is processed by the ad network under its own privacy policy, not under this one, and we do not receive identifiable personal data from it. Adsterra placements may additionally use popunders and social bars, which open only after you interact with the page.

Ad networks use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior activity on this and other sites. If you would rather not be involved in that, every major browser can block or delete cookies, and most offer a per-signal or per-site opt-out. Blocking cookies does not reduce your access to any guide on this site.

Analytics

Aggregate, non-identifying traffic measurement may be used to see which guides readers actually read, so we know what is worth updating and what is stale. Where analytics is enabled it records things like page views, referrer type and broad region. It is not used to build a profile of you, and it is not linked to any account, because there are no accounts.

Third-party links

Guides link out to official Roblox game pages, official developer groups and Discord servers, and occasional third-party references. Those destinations have their own data practices, may set their own cookies, and are governed by their own privacy policies rather than this one. Following an external link takes you off this site and outside our control.

Children and your choices

Roblox has a large younger audience and so does this site, so we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. We do not run behavioural advertising aimed at children, and we do not knowingly serve personalised ads based on a known minor’s interests. You can browse the entire site without accepting advertising cookies, and you can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser at any time.
