Survive a Million Monkeys Codes October 2026

Two codes are working right now. MONKEYS and SURVIVE each pay 1,000 Gems, so redeeming both banks 2,000 Gems before you touch the shop. Codes only work from the lobby, which means you have to finish the tutorial first, then hit the Codes icon in the top right corner of the screen.

All active codes

Code Reward Status Where it is confirmed
MONKEYS 1,000 Gems Active Advertised on the official Roblox game page, and listed by ProGameGuides, Destructoid and UrGameTips
SURVIVE 1,000 Gems Active Listed by ProGameGuides and Destructoid, both updated October 4, 2026

Total available right now: 2,000 Gems.

MONKEYS is the one you can trust without a second opinion. The developer's own Roblox listing ends with the line "Use code MONKEYS for 1000 gems", so that code is confirmed by the people who made the game. SURVIVE arrived alongside it in the October 4 refresh and is carried by two codes outlets; Destructoid flags it as the new one, which is why some shorter lists show only SURVIVE and miss MONKEYS.

There is no expired codes table yet, and that is not an omission

This game launched days ago and no code has been switched off as of October 4, 2026. If you are reading a list with an expired section full of invented entries, that list was padded. Codes get retired later, and this page keeps them listed with an expired label instead of deleting them.

How to redeem codes

The redemption box does not exist during the tutorial. Get through the tutorial, get to the lobby, and the Codes icon appears in the top right corner of the screen.

  1. Launch Survive a Million Monkeys on Roblox.
  2. Finish the tutorial.
  3. Click Codes in the top right corner while you are in the lobby.
  4. Paste the code into the empty field in the pop-up window.
  5. Hit the green checkmark to redeem.
Copy-paste instead of typing

Both codes are single uppercase words with no numbers or symbols, so there is nothing confusing to mistype, but a stray leading space from a copy is the most common reason a valid code gets rejected. Paste, then check the field before you submit.

When a code does not work

Work down this list in order and most problems resolve before you have to suspect the code itself:

  • You are still in the tutorial. The Codes icon lives in the lobby, not in the opening sequence.
  • Capitalization drifted. Codes are case-sensitive here, and MONKEYS is not the same input as monkeys.
  • The code was already claimed on your account. A code is redeemed once per account.
  • The code has been switched off. Nothing in the current list is expired, but that changes after the next update.

If all four check out and it still fails, the code is dead rather than mistyped, and this page is the place that gets corrected first.

What 2,000 Gems actually buys

Gems are the progression currency for the whole game. Two codes' worth is enough to matter immediately, and the order you spend in decides whether the payout feels big.

  • Class unlocks. Gems are what buy the specialized classes, including the Bomber and Engineer, and the Juggernaut is the unlock most players are chasing.
  • Weapon purchases and upgrades. Upgrading something you already know how to use tends to beat saving for a new toy.
  • The Epic Deagle pistol, the one weapon with a confirmed name so far.

The Gems guide walks through the budget, and the class tier list tells you whether that unlock is worth the price before you pay it.

Where new codes show up first

Codes for a game this new tend to arrive with updates rather than on a schedule. The two places worth checking after every patch are the developer's official Roblox group and the official Discord, both of which are where announcements land before codes pages update.

FAQ

How many codes are active right now?

Two: MONKEYS and SURVIVE, worth 1,000 Gems each for 2,000 Gems total, as of October 4, 2026.

Why is my code rejected?

Case matters, the code may already be claimed on your account, or you are trying to redeem before the tutorial ends and the lobby Codes box exists. If it is a clean entry and it still fails, the code has been retired.

Are there expired codes?

Not yet. Nothing has been switched off as of October 4, 2026, so there is no expired list to check against. Retired codes stay on this page marked expired rather than being deleted.

Do I need to finish the tutorial first?

Yes. The Codes icon sits in the top right of the lobby screen, and the lobby only loads once the tutorial is done. The beginner guide covers the first ten minutes in order.

Can I redeem the same code twice?

No. A code is redeemed once per account, so redeem MONKEYS and SURVIVE once each and you have the full 2,000 Gems available right now.
