Kaiju Alpha How to Get Monster Zero
Monster Zero unlocks with 10 skulls, not with Cells. There is no published price for it, which makes it the one top-bracket kaiju in the game you can reach without farming the Cell ladder at all. Positions moved in an August 2026 remap, and some servers spawn almost nothing, so read your live card first and change servers when a run goes dry.
The count, and the disagreement around it
Two independent routes document a 10-skull requirement, and no route found gives a different number as of the last check. That is the number to plan around.
It is not unanimous, though, and the disagreement is worth understanding before you spend an evening on it:

None of the minority reports is a developer line. The one-skull-per-server report is a single player's account and other routes show multiple spawn points, so treat the ten figure as the planning number and the per-server yield as the variable you actually farm around.
The one-skull-per-hour claim is worth noting for a different reason: if it is even roughly true on your server, the hunt is a grind measured in sessions, not minutes. Set that expectation before you start.
Open the Monster Zero card and read the number it currently asks for. The count is printed on the card, the card is the authority, and it costs you nothing to check before you spend an hour searching.
Do not memorise coordinates
This is the part that trips up people following older skull routes. Skull positions were remapped in August 2026, so any pinned list made before then sends you to empty ground.
The workable method is a search pattern rather than a set of pins:
- Check the card for the current count, then close it.
- Take a fast or flying kaiju so a sweep takes minutes rather than a full lap of the map.
- Work the quiet islands and the outskirts before dense Tokyo. Fewer targets per cast, but nobody contests you and you finish the sweep.
- If a server stops producing skulls, leave it. That server is done.
- Come back to a new server. Rejoining the same one does not replace a skull you already picked up, so cycling a dead server just wastes the run.
Update 52 added a new island alongside the Halloween theme, Shin Eva Godzilla, Skeleton Gojira 1954, Godzilla In Hell, a Daily Quest and 15 skins. A fresh map is the least picked-over ground in the game right now, and skulls are world objects, so a sweep of an unfamiliar island is a legitimate hunt rather than a wasted trip. Player reports of what is spawning there arrive fastest on the community Discord.

Which kaiju to bring
The hunt wants coverage and speed, not damage.

Jet Jaguar 1973 is the standout here. At 9,500 Cells with no level gate, it sits low enough on the ladder that a mid-game account can pick it up specifically for this, and flying options cost three times as much.

The other zero-budget unlocks
Monster Zero is not the only kaiju that bypasses Cells.
Showa Ghidorah is free for members of the SULU OPPA Roblox group, and it flies. It has no Cell price at all on the published roster table, and joining the group takes about a minute. It is also the single most common source of confusion on this page, because the same notes use Monster Zero and King Ghidorah as names for the same unlock. If you are looking for a free three-headed flier, this is it.
Godzilla 2000 DNA is the gate for Orga. Creator notes treat the DNA as the requirement for Orga's second form, and neither Orga form has a published Cell price. Godzilla 2000 itself was rebalanced in Update 45, so check the live card rather than relying on an older DNA drop route.
Kiryu shares that same Update 45 rebalance pass and carries a signature skill 5, Absolute Zero Cannon, listed at up to 3,750 damage on a 100-second cooldown. Enormous single hit, punishing wait, and the clearest example of why this page separates collectible unlocks from Cell unlocks.
Cells buy kaiju. Level gates, kill counters, collectibles and DNA buy the rest. Monster Zero, Showa Ghidorah and Orga sit entirely outside the Cell economy, which is why the top of the tier list is not reachable by saving alone.
Why the skull route is worth the grind
Monster Zero lands in the top half of the roster on the strength of being a flying three-headed unlock that no Cell price gates. Compare the two most expensive entries in the game:
