Candy Kingdom Defense Gamepasses

Candy Kingdom Defense sells seven gamepasses, and they fall into three clean groups: a starter bundle, permanent efficiency multipliers, and a season track. All seven are permanent purchases rather than timed boosts, and all seven are still on sale. This guide lists every one with its exact price and what the developer says it does, then ranks them by what a new account should buy first.

The Full Pass List

Gamepass Price What the developer says it does
Starter Pack 79 R$ A one-time pack for new heroes: 3,000 Gems, 20 Trait Crystals, 10 Units of Juice and 3 Enchiridion Pages.
Big Backpack 99 R$ A bigger backpack: hold twice as many heroes.
VIP 349 R$ Summons cost 20% less, better trait odds at Castle Lemongrab, and a VIP tag over your head and in chat.
Lucky Summons 399 R$ Better luck at the treasure chest: twice the Mythic odds and 1.5x the Legendary odds on every summon.
2x Gems 599 R$ Double the gems from every match: wins, challenges and every Infinite wave.
2x Drops 599 R$ Double the items every match pays: evolution items, Trait Crystals, Enchiridion Pages, XP candies and more.
Premium Battle Pass 799 R$ The premium battle pass for Season One: a welcome bundle of Gems, Trait Crystals and juice, premium rewards on every level, two of every evolution item, and the shiny Fire King at the top.

Two things to notice in those descriptions. The Lucky Summons pass affects odds, which means it changes what a summon returns rather than how many you can buy. And the 2x Gems and 2x Drops passes cover different halves of a match payout, because Gems and items are separate currencies.

What To Buy First

Start with the Starter Pack at 79 Robux. It is the cheapest pass by a wide margin and it contains exactly the four things a new account is short of: 3,000 Gems, 20 Trait Crystals, 10 Units of Juice and 3 Enchiridion Pages. For a comparison point, 3,000 Gems is roughly three times the starting gem balance, and 20 Trait Crystals is more than a full x15 crystal bundle at the shop rate.

Then buy 2x Gems if you play a lot of matches. It doubles the gems from wins, challenges and every Infinite wave, which makes it the pass that scales with playtime. It is the pass you will feel most.

Treat Lucky Summons as the summoning pass. Twice the Mythic odds and 1.5x the Legendary odds changes what a pull is worth, and for an account that is still building a roster, that is often worth more than doubling the Gems you spend on pulls.

Treat VIP as the reroll pass. Its better trait odds at Castle Lemongrab apply to the exact system the reroll guide describes, and its 20% summon discount compounds with everything else you buy.

Hold the Premium Battle Pass. At 799 Robux it is the most expensive pass, it is a season track rather than a permanent multiplier, and its headline reward, the shiny Fire King, only lands if you play through Season One. Read the tier list before you commit 799 Robux to chasing one hero.

What You Can Get For Free

The free currency in this game is good enough to cover the early game.

  • Six working codes pay 4,600 Gems and 63 Trait Crystals between them, which is more than the Starter Pack on its own. The codes page has the list, and the most recent batch landed on October 21.
  • Daily Rewards give a seven-day streak with a two-hour refill timer.
  • Quests pay out for actions you are taking anyway, like summoning five heroes, feeding your heroes three times and winning two stages.

Claim the codes and the dailies before you buy anything, and the Starter Pack becomes an optional convenience rather than a requirement.

Multipliers stack, and that is the point

2x Gems and 2x Drops are separate passes, and buying both doubles your whole match payout in two different currencies. That is the intended route for a dedicated player, and it is why a 599 Robux pass can be better value than a 99 Robux one over a long enough session.

Which Passes You Can Skip

  • Big Backpack at 99 Robux. Doubling your hero storage helps only if you are drowning in pulls, which is a problem you get by spending Gems on Lucky Summons. It is a pass for a specific late-game state, not a starting purchase.
  • The Premium Battle Pass if you play in short bursts. A season track rewards consistent play over weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do Candy Kingdom Defense gamepasses cost? From 79 Robux for the Starter Pack to 799 Robux for the Premium Battle Pass, with Big Backpack at 99, VIP at 349, Lucky Summons at 399, and both 2x Gems and 2x Drops at 599.

Is the Starter Pack worth buying? Yes, for a new account. 3,000 Gems, 20 Trait Crystals, 10 Units of Juice and 3 Enchiridion Pages for 79 Robux is more than the six free codes hand out, and it saves hours of farming.

Do the gamepasses expire? No. They are permanent account upgrades.

What does VIP do exactly? Summons cost 20% less, trait odds at Castle Lemongrab are better, and you get a VIP tag over your head and in chat.

Should I buy Lucky Summons or 2x Gems? Lucky Summons if your problem is that your roster is bad. 2x Gems if your problem is that you cannot afford to roll the roster better. The beginner guide covers which situation you are in.
